If your body feels tight, stiff or like it just needs to move, Thai massage offers a different kind of relief.
Thai massage combines assisted stretching, compression, rhythmic movement and gentle pressure to help release tension while bringing more movement into the body. Rather than simply working on the muscles, I use guided stretches and movement to help your body feel more open and mobile.
Thai massage also incorporates compression along the Sen lines, the energy pathways described in traditional Thai medicine. These points and lines are worked somewhat like trigger points, using focused pressure and compression with the intention of encouraging the movement of energy and supporting the body’s natural healing process.
The result is a unique combination of stretching, pressure and movement that can leave you feeling lighter, looser and more connected to your body.

Ways to Experience Thai Bodywork
Assisted stretching before your massage
Want to add some movement to your regular massage?
Thai Assisted Stretching can be added to your appointment and performed before your massage. This gives us dedicated time to gently stretch and mobilize the body before moving into your massage session.
You’ll receive assisted stretching, compression along the Sen lines, and gentle therapeutic movement to help loosen areas that feel tight, stiff, or restricted. The stretching is adapted to your body and your comfort level, giving us more time to focus on the areas that need it most.
Extended Thai Massage
If you’d like more time for Thai massage and assisted stretching, choose an extended Thai Massage session.
You’ll receive a full session focused on assisted stretching, compression along the Sen lines, therapeutic movement and focused pressure. This allows more time to work with the areas that need it most.
Your session is always adapted to your body. I’m not going to force you into a stretch or put you through a routine that doesn’t feel right. The intention is to help you move more freely while still feeling relaxed and cared for.
What to wear
Thai massage and assisted stretching are performed fully clothed.
Please wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move easily.
Good choices include:
- Yoga pants or leggings
- Athletic pants
- Comfortable shorts
- Stretchy shirts or T-shirts
Please avoid jeans, skirts, dresses or restrictive clothing.
You may want to bring a long sleeve shirt.
